An incredible and very rare, Chinoiserie Ming style red canopy queen size wood bed frame by Thomasville.
This is a bed fit for a Chinoiserie Queen or King. It definitely makes a grand statement with the original red finish and gold corner accents. This is such a rare bed from Thomasville which I've never seen before. The date on the back of the headboard states it's from the 70's.
The side rails have sort of curved hooks on the ends which interlock into the head and foot board. The back headboard has a weaved wicker inset.
The bed also comes with wood slats for the interior to place your box spring and mattress.
It's an incredible vintage bed and it will surely be the envy of anyone who see's it.

It has been touched up in a few very small areas with tiny nicks or scratches. The small brass corners had some tarnish and pitting so they were touched up with gold metallic rub and buff. The bed had a few minor signs of wear, nothing major. The bed comes with several wood slats for the interior of the bed. less
