A vintage glazed porcelain lidded ginger styled after Ming dynasty in cobalt blue-and-bright white porcelain. Perfect for Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency or Coastal Classic interiors. It is fitted with a domed lid and a small, pointed finial with a separate dark wooden stand for display. Hand-painted (or transfer-style) cobalt blue designs on a white ground of traditional Chinese dragon winding across the surface, surrounded by stylized clouds and small landscape elements. The border has details of floral or lotus-like banding around the shoulder and near the base of the jar.
Perfect aesthetic vessel amongst a collection, or on a coffee table atop a stack of books for the I hope you'll make it a "keeper" in your home.
