This … Read more This hand blown glass 4 petal lobe decorative sculpture bowl features the "bullicante" technique controlled bubbles inside the glass. This makes a beautiful mosaic for the first layer of the piece. It also feautures the "sommerso" technique where contrasting colors of pink and blue; (for this piece only) are submerged creating a layered effect within the clear crystal glass. So in affect there are three layers to this piece; the bubbles, the pink and blue and then the clear cystal glass that the Murano Italian artisian from the 1950's created for us to indulge in for our satisfaction. This sculpture is quite heavy for it's size weighing several pounds. The height and width is 6" and the length is 11". I found this piece from an estate sale in Boise, ID. See less
