Sterling silver lidded box with a richly decorated floral design of hollyhocks, daisies, and forget-me-nots, interwoven with ribbons and rocaille ornamentation.
The crystal glass is cut and polished on eight surfaces; the base features a cut 23-pointed star.
The lid is marked 923/1000 Fine Sterling with an unidentified hallmark and C1691.
Condition: The lid has a few dents and is slightly compressed; the glass shows minor signs of wear; the silver remains unpolished.
