It reflects characteristics of Rococo or Louis XV Design, flowing curves, asymmetrical motifs, and lavish ornamentation. The frame is richly carved and finished in gold gilt, seat has a nail head trim, giving it a luxurious, courtly appearance.
A prominent carved shell motif sits at the top center, surrounded by scrolling forms and floral details. This shell crest is a hallmark of Rococo design.
The woodwork is heavily embellished with floral carvings, scrolls, and decorative flourishes. The legs curve gently outward in a cabriole style, consistent with 18th‑century French aesthetics.
