The Plaza hotel first opened its doors in 1907 and is one of the world's finest hotels. Located on the corner of 5th Avenue and Central Park South, the hotel is at the heart of New York's premier shops and attractions. The hotel remains a New York institution and will forever be the epitome of luxury and style.
The Plaza was a favorite of F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife, Zelda. Fitzgerald loved the hotel so much, he even mentioned it in his most acclaimed novel, The Great Gatsby. Fitzgerald spent so much time at the Plaza that his friend, Ernest Hemingway, suggested he "leave his liver to Princeton [his alma matter] and his heart to the Plaza."
