Hand-thrown studio pottery bowl featuring a sculptural, petal-like rim and richly carved interior decoration. The bowl is finished in a beautiful variegated blue-green glaze that deepens and pools within the carved texture, creating depth and tonal variation.
The underside bears the artist’s stamped seal within a circular cartouche along with a distinctive three-dot motif. The base and underside are intentionally left unglazed, revealing the natural buff stoneware clay body with iron speckling and firing marks—hallmarks of handmade studio pottery.
With its organic form and expressive glaze, this piece reflects the aesthetics of American studio pottery from the late mid century. A lovely decorative accent bowl or small serving piece that adds texture and character to a tabletop or shelf vignette.
