It … Read more This is a great primitive writing desk with bark covered legs and base and stained wood (maybe oak?) upper. It would be fabulous in a cabin, hunting lodge, on a porch or in in any room that has distinctive pieces.

The desk is in good condition but does have imperfections including separation to the boards on the desk top, minor losses to the bark on the legs and other signs of age and wear that add to it's charm. There is a drilled hole near the bottom of one of the front legs as if there had been a stretcher but there isn't a hole on the other side.

The desk top is 27 1/2 inches high and the leg space is 21 1/2 inches high and 34 inches wide, the letter boxes are 3 3/4 inches deep by 8 inches wide and the back splash is 4 3/4 inches high, the draw is 16 inches wide with a 17 inch front, 18 1/2 inches deep, the interior is 14 1/2 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 4 inches high.
