Vintage 1985 sterling silver jewelry or trinket box. It is a replica of a Dutch Marriage Box (knotjes box) that was
produced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MMA). It is marked on the bottom “MMA 1985 Sterling”. Lidded hexagonal shape with cast metal relief scenes on the top and all six sides. Stands on three ball feet. 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”.
