Elegant in proportion, this 1940s French two-tier side table channels the neoclassical language of Maison Jansen. Crafted in solid brass with a soft, time-worn patina, its arched supports and finial feet strike a poised silhouette. Two glass shelves, etched SECURIT LEGRAS, float within the frame, the upper tier ideal for books, a lamp, or objets; the lower for larger vessels or stacked volumes. At just two feet wide, it sits lightly in a room, offering presence without excess.
Condition: Overall in very good vintage condition. The brass frame shows an even, warm patina with minor surface wear consistent with age. Both glass shelves are in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks and are not affixed to the frame, allowing for easy removal.
