A majolica glazed leaf form dessert tray from Samuel Alcock & Co, Burslem, Staffordshire, England, circa 1850.
A central strawberry leaf on a shaped tray with a vine border, and showing both the berries and blossoms of the strawberry plant. The color and glazing technique is distinctive to Alcock majolica pottery. The mottled blue, green and brown glazing to the verso is also a hallmark of Alcock.
Indistinctly marked with the Beehive, SA & Co.

A small sliver to the rim, unseen from the front, the expected wear to the bottom rim where the server is seated.
