19th century hand carved oak umbrella stand from England.
The top is decorated with a hand turned and carved finial, following down to a central stem, also turned and carved decorated. At the top of the stem is a hand turned and carved ring which is used to place umbrellas or canes. The stem is supported on a lovely footed base.
The base has a beveled and hand carved border, surrounding a metal fitted tray.
