Construction & Artistry: Unlike traditional flat silver overlay, this piece uses a "sculptural" technique where a structural gesso (white mineral) core is hand-molded onto the glass and then clad in a substantial layer of .925 sterling silver. The result is a three-dimensional work of art that captures light and shadow beautifully.
Condition & Patina: The silver retains a gorgeous, authentic vintage patina with colorful iridescent oxidation—a hallmark of genuine sterling silver. The glass base is clear and free of chips or cracks. The sculptural relief is structurally sound with the silver skin intact.
