The set of four black lacquered panels that represent all four seasons created with the use of soapstone and mother of pearl inlays. The scenes show geisha kimono robed figures with mountains in the background in all four of the images. They are wonderfully set within a singular frame that has off white matte with light blue border. The frame has layers of decorative components that enhance the composition of the inset panels. The entire piece is in good condition with a visible yellow mark on the off-white matte. See less
