Signed M Burkette 1987 set of three carnival cats, made from canvas and hand painted. This set was made by Flora Mildred Burkette, a NC folk artist.
These cats are reminiscent of the weighted cats used in carnivals for the pitching booths in the 1930-1940's. The cat is also named "Hattie" as painted on the base.
Great decorations for any home or office.
The large cat measures 6.5 w x 6 d x 14.5 h, the middle cat measures 4 w x 3.5 d x 7.25 h, and the smallest cat measures 4.5 w x 2.38 d x 6 h.
