Hand-decorated in Japan, these striking plates showcase traditional chrysanthemum and geometric patterns that make them equally stunning for table settings or decorative wall displays.

This beautiful set of six vintage Imari-style porcelain plates was produced in Arita, Japan, the historic center of Japanese porcelain production.

Each plate features a bold segmented panel design surrounding a central floral vase motif, rendered in the traditional Imari color palette of iron red, cobalt blue, celadon green, and hand-applied gold accents.

The panels incorporate classic Japanese decorative elements including chrysanthemum blossoms, geometric hexagonal patterns, and stylized foliage. These motifs have been used in Japanese porcelain design for centuries and give the plates a timeless decorative presence.
Marked Arita Fine China on the reverse, the plates date to the late 1960s–1970s, when hand-decorated Imari porcelain was widely exported to the United States.
