Handsome English campaign 19th century travel lap desk. Constructed of mahogany with brass mounts, the desk sits on a custom made ebonized birch wood stand. The top folds open to reveal a green felt-lined writing surface with two lidded compartments. The writing surface is hinged and opens to a compartment for storing documents/stationery.
This piece adds character to any room and makes a wonderful side/drinks table.
The measurements for the lap desk on stand are: 25"tall x 21"wide x 12.75" deep.
