China Early 20th Century
Vintage Chinese cloisonné bowl from the early 20th century features vibrant peonies and graceful birds, set against a rich black background. The intricate cloud pattern of the metalwork sets off the richness of the multiple shades of blue, turquoise, cream, lavender, and red against the black enamel background.
Measurements:
Diameter: 8” approximately.
Height: 2-3/4” approximately.
Height, with carved wood stand: 4-1/2”, approximately.
The bowl sits on a carved wooden stand. The stand is included.
This bowl is in excellent condition. I’ve given it a light polish to highlight the intricate pattern of the wire work. I will leave a more detailed polishing to the buyer.
