Artfully handcrafted neoclassic-style ceramic bisque lidded centerpiece box adorned with a whimsical acanthus leaf motif and resting on four petite scrolled peg feet, lovely, isn’t it? Nicely sized with an amply sized interior, perfect for making a statement on an entryway or console table or to simply store your trinkets and treasures.

This beauty measures 10½” high with the lid on; 5¼” high without the lid. It is 8½ wide and 5¾” deep; interior 8” x 5” x 3½” W/D/H; weight 3 lbs. 10 oz. Medium is unglazed ceramic bisque with a hand painted wash of pale ecru. linen and verdigris which results in an ancient vintage look-and-feel that gives the box a great deal of character. In excellent condition with a spot or two of age-appropriate wear that includes surface wear that is most indiscernible and does not affect its beauty or utility (see photos 15, 16 & 17). It hails from 1960s and believe it to be from an American artist whose signature is on the underside of the box and under the lid, as well.
