Antique French Empire gilt bronze 'flower vase' mantle clock from the Charles X period 1825. With 3 inch gilt dial and flower cast bezel, bell striking silk suspension movement. The gilt and patinated bronze vase case with ribbed and basket weave body, side ring handles and oval base applied with a floral spray rising on bun feet. Lacks minute hand. Measures 10 3/4" tall x 10" across.
