Rare model MR30/5 tubular steel cantilever chair in black/brown leather, designed in the 1920s by the designer and architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (March 1886 – August 1969) for Knoll International.

Manufactured circa 1960s/1970s by Knoll International. At that time, the chairs were identified only with a sticker, not—as with today's models—with an engraving on the frame. One of the chairs has two original stickers; on the second, only an outline of where it was originally affixed is still visible. Furthermore, this model is no longer in production.

Condition report: Chrome frame with signs of age and use. Lacing has been renewed. The leather exhibits a distinct, authentic patina of age and remains soft and supple. The leather was originally dark brown and was dyed black decades ago. On an armchair, you can clearly see it from the back - expressive vintage charm. This piece has an attribution mark,
