This large-scale organic centerpiece bowl is defined by its thinly rolled body and rhythmic, hand-impressed abstract surface pattern. Concentric swirl motifs in muted blue and iron-red tones are embedded beneath a glossy glaze, revealing the movement of the glass and the maker’s process.
The bowl appears to have been mold-blown, impressed with a repeating motif, and then molded into a shallow form, resulting in subtle undulation and surface tension characteristic of studio art glass rather than production ware. Unmarked, yet confidently executed, the piece reads as sculptural tableware with strong contemporary presence.
Its generous scale and tactile surface make it suitable as a dining or console centerpiece, bridging functional vessel and glass art object.
