The wood is of the finest carving with an acanthus leaf cartouche and cabochon, intertwined with “C” scrolls, and acanthus leaf framing the looking glass. The tall rectangular plate is surrounded by layered molding and hand carved floral and foliate relief, with an openwork crest and a matching pierced apron that completes the composition. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. See less
