The form is defined by a slender, rectilinear frame of flat and strap-like uprights surrounding three graduated, rectangular shelves finished in a pale celadon-cream tone with contrasting bronzed-gilt edging and accents. Along the upper perimeter, a repeating series of pointed ogee arches rises from the top shelf as a decorative gallery, each crest capped with a small gilt ball finial, creating a rhythmic, chapel-window silhouette that reads as Moorish- or Gothic-inspired within a mid-century Hollywood Regency vocabulary.
