A handsome antique brass desk clock and aneroid barometer, c.1870, mounted on a pillar support with a round swing handle and substantial brass casing. The piece features twin oval enamel dials: on the left, a Roman‑numeral clock with ornate black hands; on the right, an aneroid barometer with classic weather indications including Stormy, Change, and Fair. The clock opens from the back and includes its winding key. The movement is not currently working and appears to have been serviced at some point in its history. The barometer is adjustable from the front and appears to be functioning. The brass case has a warm, aged patina and a pleasing weight, giving the piece strong decorative presence on a desk, shelf, or library table. Dimensions: 6.5" W × 2" D × 6.5" H. Condition: Clock not working; barometer appears functional. Enamel dials have age‑appropriate wear. Brass shows expected patina.
