An exceptional pair of authentic, mid-century Ritz-Carlton Hotel luncheon plates, custom-commissioned from the renowned Mayer China Company of Beaver Falls, PA. This iconic pattern features a vibrantly detailed central "Bird of Paradise" motif, framed by delicate floral sprays and a classic deep maroon-banded rim. These heavy, vitrified porcelain pieces represent the pinnacle of 20th-century American "Hotel Ware," designed to provide a luxury experience for the world's most storied hospitality brand. The backstamp, "Made Expressly for Ritz-Carlton Hotels," confirms their early production history.
