This lovely antique cameo is carved from a Conch shell. It has the delicate pink to white coloring of this shell.
This is from the victorian era.
It has a greek key surround with scalloped edge in 14k gold with leaf accents and tiny seed pearls at the top and bottom.
This is a brooch and or pendant.
The bail at the top is hinged to lift up or down and it also turns.
The pin back has a c-catch closure.
This piece is not marked but has been tested and guaranteed to be solid 14k gold, confirmed also by a jeweler.
It is 1 7/8" long with the bail in the up position and 1 1/4" wide.
