Mid-Century Danish Modern large blown glass console bowl designed by Lütken, Holmegaard’s art director, in 1957 “Selandia” handmade in Denmark. Fabulous smoke color and well-executed free-form round biomorphic shape. According to Holmegaard's official site, the "shape' is created when the glass blower carefully turns, raises, and lowers the hot glass."
This design was made in three sizes, with this one being of the largest,
Etch signed and numbered on the underside of the base. Holmegaard Per Lutken.
