An early and unique set of a finnish mid century modern desk by alvar aalto with laminated birch wood frame and two sliding drawers with a beautifully patinated brown linoleum top. The matching "69" four legged chair is upholstered with a dark grey checkered wool fabric. In good original condition and most likely produced as a special commission by stylchair in france during the 1940s dimensions: desk: h: 72.5 cm / 28.55" w: 100 cm / 39.40" (top) 110 cm / 43.30" (total) d: 56 cm / 22.10" chair: h: 74 cm / 29.15" w: 43 cm / 16.90" d: 47 cm / 18.50" sh: 45 cm / 17.70" this piece has an attribution mark,
