Fabulous limited edition reprint by Honoré Daumier (1808 - 1879). Mounted and framed on burl wood, with an inscription and a number (6/289). An exquisite, highly collectible and very rare piece.
The original drawing is in a private collection in Paris. The work is titled "The Physicians and Death"
Honoré-Victorin Daumier was a French painter, sculptor, and printmaker, whose many works offer commentary on the social and political life in France, from the Revolution of 1830 to the fall of the second Napoleonic Empire in 1870.
