Really, really gorgeous, old, and rare Imperial Glass Co. display bowl. This is their "Ice Cream Bowl" shape featuring a true Hobstar and Arches print. The beautiful iridescent coloring, known by Imperial as Clambroth, is actually a predecessor to what we know as carnival glass. The combo of the Ice Cream bowl shape with Hobstar & Arches in Clambroth is commonly dated pre-1940s, meaning this bowl is nearly 100 years old! (You can actually see for yourself that this bowl pre-dates common use of molds as the sawtooth edge is slightly uneven, indicating it was handmade.) Super rare almost antique! And just stunning.
