It came from a New Orleans … Read more At lot of research has gone into finding out details about this stunning fabric. It came from a New Orleans estate, which enjoyed very nice things. We are only able to use information about comparable fabrics by Beacon Hill. It is a silk/cotton blend and sheer. As stated on the selvage, it was hand printed in Italy “especially for Beacon Hill”. The delicate botanical design of berries and branches echo the sheer, lightweight texture. It measures 6 yards plus 5 inches or so and is a full 55 inches wide. This may be a one of a kind find.
