Delightful hand transferware Kutani dish with a milky white porcelain body and colorful refined pigment over glaze. Camellias and other flowers. Pattern of Yoshidaya style which include small plants and flowers are considered to be Old Kutani revived. Perfect as a centerpiece or offered as a wedding gift or new house present.
This Japanese decorative tableware uses traditional shapes, materials, Japanese colors and patterns such as Ko-kutani, Hanazume and Imari to convey a sense of craftsmanship that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Marking: Kanji writing of the kiln's name in a double square.
Provenance: Arita town, Japan
Condition: excellent. No flaws.
