Vintage: C.1950's Italian Handblown Ventian Murano assortment of fruit as well as a catchall decorative bowl by Barovier' en Toso. … Read more Vintage: C.1950's Italian Handblown Ventian Murano assortment of fruit as well as a catchall decorative bowl by Barovier' en Toso. The set consists of 2 pumpkins, on of which is a thinner membrane of glass, but cross-fretted or in a quilted pattern, all with hand applied leaves and/or stems, given the fruit, a plum, a pepper, and a pinched and dimpled decorative catchall bowl, in a luscious red coloration with clear outer, and gold leaf inclusions by Barovier en Toso. The maker's mark stickers are still affixed to each fruit and bowl, as close up image indicates. The other sticker's affixed to the fruit, states, Made In Italy for Imagnin & Co. Likely all the pieces were made at the Barovier Foundry, considering the heavy, sold, thick fluting with a C' Ordonato pattern and process,synonymous to the Foundry.

Larger Pumpkin: 4.50"W x 4.25"D x 3.50"H. - MAIN DIMENSION.
Smaller Pumpkin: 4"W x 3.75"D x 3"H. (Cross-fretted and/or quilted pattern).
Plum: 3"W x 4.75"D x 3.25"H
Pepper: 2.50"W x 5"D x 2.50"H. (The "only" condition issue, tip of stem broken, prior to us, previous owner had it polished down.
Red & Clear Catchall Bowl Outer with Gold Leaf: 4"W x $"D x 2 3/8"H.

ALL the Fruit/Vegetables are THICk and SOLID, with thick ribbed fluting in the C' Orodonato Pattern, by Barovier' except for the finer one, which we mentioned is thinner membrane of glass and has a cross-quilted pattern. See less
