Purchased in 1964 at Barnes & Kimel Furniture in Arlington, VA, this superbly comfortable oak frame wingback chair was later reupholstered in red jacquard material with a raised fall leaf motif. The unusual oak side panels are inscribed with a diamond pattern.
The upholstery is in excellent condition, the oak frame is in good vintage condition and structurally sound, but wear is noticeable on the front of the arm rests and back legs.
