This gorgeous Antique Minton Stone China dinner plate in the Amherst Japan pattern, featuring a bold Imari-inspired palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt highlights. The design showcases traditional Japanese motifs- stylized florals, scrolls, and basket arrangements-framed by a rchly decorated border on a scalloped edge.
Produced in England during the d-19th century, this piece reflects the height of Minton's fascination with Japanese Imari designs, translated into durable "Stone China" for the Western market.
