If you live in a high-ceiling flat or house and need a "basic light" in a room, you've arrived at the right place.
This one's all original and in excellent condition. Judging from the cord coming out of the top it has been rewired at some point. The sockets and their 2 1/4" fitters are worth the price of admission as they're over 100 years old G.E. beauties in excellent working condition, with mica insulators to boot. The shades might be a little newer than the fixture itself but not by too great a stretch. Best fitted with clear incandescent bulbs, they sparkle a bit where the filament shines through. Use any wattage you like, standard based bulbs.
This light could (relatively) easily be reduced in length.
All brass, not subject to rusting or other such problems. Easily disassembled for plating if that's your desire. Would look great in brushed nickel.
Will take a very large box to ship it!

One arm is loose (swivels) but stays in perfect position when installed on the ceiling. The brass is in excellent condition overall with maybe a tiny bit of denting up where it attaches to the ceiling. The patina is somewhat irregular and appropriately "old."
