Subject and Style: The dish features a splendid Rococo-style shell shape, characterized by raised ribs and a wavy, sinuous edge. The decoration is a triumph of delicacy: bunches of multicolored flowers (roses, violets, and forget-me-nots) are scattered across the white surface. The entire piece is embellished with rich pure gold highlights that emphasize the edges and the raised acanthus scrolls on the back of the shell, lending the piece a luminous and prestigious touch.

Material and Finish: Crafted from the finest white Limoges porcelain. The decoration is hand-crafted, as certified by the hallmark on the back: "Vieux Versailles - Peint a la main - Limoges" within a blue and gold seal.
