Just removed from New York City estate, we are pleased to offer you this lovely Vintage English 20th Century SET … Read more Just removed from New York City estate, we are pleased to offer you this lovely Vintage English 20th Century SET of THREE Chinoiserie Painted Black Lacquered Nesting Tables. These babies are crafted from black painted mahogany, with added glass windows for easier cleaning. Fine quality, stack of 3 tables features tops all graduating in size, they slide into each other perfectly with a fraction of an inch to spare, giving this set great versatility and appearance! Tops have Chinese export style paintings on edges, featuring people in traditional garb, nature, junk boats and pagoda top houses. Tops are done to mimic Asian painting frames, which would in such form garnered more than the asking price. Each table stands on four long downward tapering legs. Condition is good overall, showing light age / use wear, most wear is by design for antique look (please see photos). Size of the largest table is 15" x 12" wide top, and it stands 21.5" in height. This set was well loved, a beautiful useful piece of furniture, easy to bring out and tuck away. Designer delight, will mesh with traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
