This Danish Modern rocking chair, model 97, was designed by Holger Georg Jensen for the Danish furniture manufacturer Tønder Møbelværk. The chair features a beautiful sculptural teak frame with a slanted seat and boomerang shaped legs for a gentle rocking motion. The chair has been newly finished and upholstered in a cool blue fabric that perfectly contrasts with the warm wood grain. This chair is a classic Danish Modern design, both comfortable and stylish, a must have for serious collectors. The arm height is 22".
