A striking pair of antique hand-blown cobalt blue hyacinth bulb forcing glasses, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The faint swirling lines catch the light, giving the pieces depth even when unfilled. The bases retain visible pontil marks — slightly raised and rough — a reminder of their hand-crafted origin. The glass feels refined and lighter in weight, with elegant proportions characteristic of Continental workshop production of the period.
Originally intended for forcing hyacinths indoors during the winter months, they are equally suited to paperwhites and other small bulbs.
