Each panel is meticulously crafted with a hand-carved hardwood frame. Each of the four rectangular panels contains three distinct porcelain plaque shapes: a fan shape at the top, a rectangular shape in the center, and a circular shape at the bottom. All porcelain panels are finely hand-painted, using Famille Rose glazes. Decorated themes include birds on flower branches, landscapes, and calligraphic inscriptions. The frames are reticulated (featuring a pierced, openwork pattern) and include hardware at the top for wall hanging.
