Victorian Courting Couple Plates
Exquisite Royal Vienna Bavarian porcelain plates dating from the 1940s–1950s. These plates feature a rich green center adorned with intricate hand-painted gold accents and romantic courting scenes in the Fragonard “Love Story” style. The surrounding panels are highlighted in gold with raised enamel dots. The deep green center beautifully complements the glossy pink, blue, and green tones in the surrounding scenes. One plate features a standing couple at the center, and one features a seated couple. They make wonderful wedding or engagement gifts. Each plate measures 10 3/4" in diameter and is marked on the underside with the JK Decor Carlsbad Royal Vienna beehive/shield mark.
