This multi-functional object serves as a sculptural figurine, an Ikebana-style flower holder, and a candlestick all rendered in Seagraves' signature "modern primitive" aesthetic.

The piece features a hand-sculpted songbird perched on a naturalistic log base, finished in a warm, earthy high-gloss glaze.

Measuring a full 8" tall, with an oblong base that is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", it is in excellent condition.

As a key figure in the mid-20th-century redware revival, Seagraves' work is prized for its anatomical charm and artisan quality.
