It is Embossed with a Number 2 Confirming its Two Gallon Liquid Storage Capacity. It has No Maker Mark but it Would Have Been Made in the Northeaster USA Region It is Rendered in the Classic American Jug Form - Shape with a Salt Glaze Exterior. The Front of the Jug has a Large Artistically & Bold Hand Decorated Navy Blue Stylized Flower Decoration. Back in the Day These Types of Stoneware Items were a Necessity in Most of Americas Farms and Household's and They were Made - Intended For Everyday Utilitarian Use. These Types of Jugs were Commonly Used to Store Liquids such as Ciders, Vinegar, Ales, Liquors & Spirits, Spring Water Etc. It is in Excellent Original Condition and it Displays Beautifully.
