Womb Chair Attributed to Eero Saarinen for Knoll International
This is a great find an original condition. The chrome and bright work is all very, very good. However, the fabric is in poor condition and therefore the price is based on the need for it to be reupholstered. The chair is wonderful top quality as would be expected and very stable condition the chair is also missing the wafer cushion that was original with the chair
I must inform you that I could not find any embossed signature in the chrome as was done on the later pieces , and the paper tag is missing , therefore I cannot confirm the originality of this amazing chair … ie it could be a copy ,,but I lean the other way. The construction and quality is AAA+
