This is the largest version (Size III) of the legendary reclining Borzoi (Model 1713), handcrafted by the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory in Vienna, Austria.

Measuring a substantial 11 inches in length, this "Giant" model captures the aristocratic grace of the Russian Wolfhound on a grand scale. The porcelain is finished in a luminous high-gloss "blanc de chine" glaze, accented with masterfully hand-painted black details on the eyes, toenails, and muzzle, and delicate pale pink highlights inside the ears.
