Vintage Swedish modernist decorative sculpture featuring an armillary-style iron sphere with directional arrows, mounted on a solid wood base. The plaque is stamped MCMLIX (1959) and the underside is stamped Sweden.
A striking mid-century Scandinavian object with clean architectural lines, made with forged iron and warm natural wood. Great as a shelf, desk, or bookcase sculpture in modern, MCM, or Scandinavian interiors.
