In the classic tradition of Arthur Court designs, this fascinating Pug dog is made of highly detailed cast brass with a turned oak wood body and glass eyes.
He sits 5 1/2" tall x 4" long x 3 1/2" wide, and opens to reveal a brass-lined interior. It could have originally been designed to be used as a "stash" or trinket box, or as a humidor.
It is embossed on the underside: "Arthur Court Designs copyrighted 1979".
This wonderful, whimsical, Pug dog is in excellent condition.
This is a great chance to own a very substantial, vintage piece by a famous designer. He will look amazing as a piece of intricately-designed desk art, or an excellent addition to any Pug dog collection.
