Dramatic statuesque vase/vessel handcrafted from tessellated abalone shell over cast resin frame, can you say oh là là! We just relocated from Kansas and are downsizing pieces that have been fun to have but will not fit in the smaller home we built. I have two of this type of vase, this is the taller of the two. I am keeping the shorter one and this beauty now needs a fabulous new home, yours perhaps? This beauty measures 19½” x 11” x 3” H/W/D; opening measures 5” x 2½” W/D; weight 3 lbs. 13 oz.; handcrafted in Vietnam circa 1980. The cast resin frame is solid black on the interior. In perfect condition. It’s a dramatic statement maker that will turn heads wherever placed; from tabletop as a centerpiece or as the main attraction on a fireplace mantle.
